Our managing partners have extensive experience in working with corporate clients, and our associates have distinguished themselves in both organizational and academic contexts. 0 Roger Brunswick, M.D. Co-Founder and Managing Partner Roger provides senior-level coaching and consulting to a variety of corporate clients, ranging from start-ups to global Fortune 100 corporations. He helps clients define and accomplish their long-term objectives through the alignment of human capital with business strategy. Roger's area of expertise include executive coaching, group facilitation, conflict resolution, merger integration, and leadership development; and he has worked with senior executives at financial service and accounting firms, consumer packaged goods companies, and medical organizations. Roger's most recent consulting activities have included executive coaching and merger integration with senior management at a large investment bank, executive coaching and development at a Big Four accounting firm, the design and implementation of a succession plan for managers and employees at a global consumer products corporation. Having lived in Europe for several years, Dr. Brunswick understands the challenges faced during overseas assignments and provides counseling and consultation to international assignees and their families. He has created several comprehensive cross-cultural expatriate programs that facilitated the successful transition of expatriates and their families. Roger received a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and an M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He also attended the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a clinical instructor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Hayes, Ph.D. Co-Founder and Managing Partner For the past 15 years, Gary Hayes has been providing senior-level coaching and consultation to organizations ranging from start-ups to large multinational corporations. His work combines results-oriented leadership and organizational development with the design and implementation of international human resource strategies and planning programs.Gary approaches management and organizational development from an integrated systems perspective, and he has extensive experience in the areas of assessment, competency modeling, succession planning, and coaching leaders and executive teams. His clients have included retail and consumer goods companies, financial service corporations, and legal, accounting, educational and health care firms. Gary also has in-depth experience providing coaching and professional development consultation to international assignees as well as implementing and designing cross-cultural expatriate programs at global Fortune 100 corporations. A licensed, practicing psychologist and psychoanalyst, Gary received a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Columbia University as well as Masters Degrees in international affairs, psychological counseling, and counseling psychology from Columbia and a B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University. He has served on the faculties of Columbia University, Yeshiva University, the National Institute for Psychotherapies, the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity, and Ecole Francaises Des Attache Des Press. Back to top 0 Maggie McCarthy Greene, Psy.D. Senior Associate Maggie is a licensed psychologist with extensive background in assessment and analysis with individuals and groups from varied settings. She has practiced in both New York and California. As an associate consultant and assessment specialist, she offers a unique synthesis of psychological testing with evaluation of individual and group dynamics, yielding a comprehensive approach to executive development and coaching that can be applied across business functions and industries. Maggie is currently involved with several projects surrounding the application of assessment tools to career and life planning, executive coaching, leadership training and development, and management assessment. She is also driving HayesBrunswick's research efforts in areas such as the leadership development of women and succession planning. Maggie obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology - San Diego. She performed her post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and is pursuing advanced training in psychoanalysis at the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity. She is a practicing psychologist, licensed in New York State, and is in private practice in New York City. Maggie is an active member of several professional associations including the American Psychological Association. Faye has been working in Consulting since 1994 after more than twenty years of work as a senior-level executive for financial service, health care and retailing organizations. She is a skilled facilitator and senior-level coach, certified in a number of assessment methods. Her practice focuses on impacting the results of organizations through group and individual leadership and organizational effectiveness. She served as Vice President for Human Resources and Quality for American Express Company where she also held VP level posts for Administration, Public Affairs, Worldwide University Relations and Employee Relations in the US and Canada. During her corporate career, she provided leadership and advice to line managers in a variety of domestic and international assignments. Based in Paris, she is a consultant, coach, trainer and author, working with progressive companies interested in the other half of the talent pool and the other half of the market - the female half. She helps companies develop more inclusive leadership styles, promote more gender-balanced management teams and review processes and policies to better respond to women - both as employees and consumers. For the past 15 years, she has listened to men and women on issues of career aspirations, leadership and performance. She is co-author of "Women, Careers and Competitive Advantage" and is the Founder and Honorary President of the European Professional Women's Network, one of Europe's largest and fastest-growing such networks. She is a certified executive coach and spent five years as a Visiting Coach at INSEAD. Along with assisting companies with competency modeling and performance management projects, he has worked on staffing, team building, performance management, and executive assessment and development projects as a consultant at Executive Development Associates and Personnel Decisions International, and as HR Director at Blink.com. Ben's research and work experience have concentrated on the ways in which individual psychology and group dynamics can either enhance or constrain effectiveness in the workplace. Ben received a B.A. in psychology from Harvard College, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from New York University, where he was a MacCracken Fellow. Between college and graduate school, he worked at Republic National Bank of New York for three years, first as a management trainee and then as assistant to the CEO. Ben was also a summer associate at William M. Mercer. Ben is an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where he teaches Introduction to Organizational Development in the Industrial and Organizational M.A. Program, and at Marist College's M.P.A. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, publishing, telecommunications/high tech, manufacturing, and consumer goods. Michael was Senior Consultant and Director of Coaching Services for Personnel Decisions International's New York office. Earlier assignments included consulting on training and career topics, and a full-time role as Manager of Management Development for PepsiCo. He has also participated in large-scale organizational research projects on job analyses, employee attitudes, and validation of selection and promotion requirements. During the course of his career, Michael has been quoted in magazines such as Fortune, Sales and Marketing Management, Working Woman, and Personal Excellence. Michael's publications cover topics including selection interviewing, performance management, and managerial coaching. His most recent contribution is a chapter in Individual Psychological Assessment, published by Jossey-Bass, a division of The Wiley Company. Michael received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Rice University, his M.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology, and his B.A. from State University of New York at Binghamton. Jones, Ph.D. Associate For more than twenty years, Dan has been providing management and organizational consultation to a wide variety of clients in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. His work combines insights from psychology, systems theory, and general management and is aimed at producing pragmatic results for both the individual and the organization. Dan has specialized in management assessment and development, executive coaching, leadership training and development, and organization development. His clients have included retail, financial services, consumer goods, banking, pharmaceutical, insurance, and technology corporations in addition to educational, human services and religious organizations. He has consulting experience with Fortune 500 and multinational corporations. Recent consulting activities have included executive coaching with key technology managers in a large investment bank, organizational assessment and development work with the strategic marketing and planning division of a major insurance company, and the design and delivery of a series of workshops focused on improved communication skills for managers and employees at a global consumer goods corporation. This consultation has often led to organizational initiatives in the areas of succession planning, team development, and strategic planning.
